Osaka Gas UK, Ltd. ("OGUK"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Osaka Gas Co., Ltd ("Osaka Gas"), was established in 2010 to expand its business in European, Middle Eastern and the Atlantic markets, especially in the energy sector.

Our mission is to contribute to the global business growth of the Daigas Group by managing variety of energy projects and LNG trading business. As an active player in European market, we closely monitor trends and movements related to decarbonisation.

As another pillar of our business, OGUK has actively contributed to the LNG trading business of Osaka Gas Energy & Supply Trading Pte. Ltd..

This is a plant with a net production capacity of 1,500 megawatts of electricity and 450 million litres of desalinated water a day, located about 250 km southwest of the Emirate of the Abu Dhabi. The asset started operating in 2011. Under the 25-years contract, all power and water production capacity will be sold to the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company wholly owned by the governmental entity, the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority.
